After launching the impressive Lucid Air sedan, the 100% electric startup has set its sights on an SUV with more traction. We don't know if Lucid will keep the Gravity name, but we expect the SUV to share many features and equipment with the sedan. From the few photos we've seen of the 2024 Lucid Gravity, it looks like an upgraded version of the sedan. 

The SUV has a simple design with rounded corners and a few ridges as it passes through the air. The slim headlight display is paired with a horizontal LED light bar positioned under the hood. Vertical fog lights and wide air intakes are also seen at the front. Lucid hasn't published any clear pictures of the SUV's rear, but the 2024 Lucid Gravity features a large D-pillar, a single vertical taillight that extends the width of the tailgate, a blunt rear spoiler, and rear fenders.

Lucid did not provide many details about the interior of 2024 Gravity. From the few photos we've seen, the 2024 Lucid Gravity appears to have an airy configuration that can seat up to seven people across three rows of seats. 

The SUV will be available with a new roof that crosses almost the entire length of gravity. Lucid is expected to offer the Gravity with several seating configurations including four and six passenger configurations.

We don't yet know what tech features the 2024 Lucid Gravity will carry, but the automaker has confirmed that the electric SUV will ship with the latest Glass Cockpit infotainment system. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, 10 speakers, wireless charging, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth and HD radio should be standard.

The powertrains of the 2024 Lucid Gravity should be compatible with those in the air. We expect the SUV to start with a twin-motor setup that produces 620 horsepower and an 88 kWh battery. The top model is expected to use a more powerful electric motor of 1,050 hp. Lucid can offer an electric SUV with a three-motor configuration and a high-performance 1,200hp Sapphire model. Although the wind can travel up to 516 kilometers on a single charge, we expect the gravitational pull to be relatively small due to its large body. Safety features for gravity have yet to be announced, but we expect the electric SUV to use the latest technology as standard. Automatic emergency braking, collision warning, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, driver monitoring, parking sensors, parking sensors auto, traffic sign recognition and automatic advanced assistance should be standard. 

Orders for 2024 Lucid Gravity should begin shortly. Pricing for the SUV is yet to be announced. The full unveiling of Lucid Gravity is expected in late 2023, with production expected to begin in late 2024, according to Green Car magazine. When 2024 Lucid Gravity goes on sale, it will rival the Rivian R1S, Cadillac Lyriq, Audi Q8 e-car, Tesla Model X, Jaguar I-Pace, BMW iX and GMC Hummer EV SUV.
