The 2024 Ford F-150 is all about the details, because honestly, with just one look, you'll be able to see how this refreshed vehicle differs from the outgoing one.
The front and rear styling has been updated, and a good look will catch the lines of Ford's new Pro Access hatchback. As you step inside, you'll notice a familiar design, although the new colors and craftsmanship may surprise you.
The face of the 2024 Ford F-150 is familiar, but everything about the nose is a little different. Ford really picks up the truck's color with revised headlights that feature new C-shaped LED light strips at the corners. The result brings a new symmetry to the F-150 front, from the STX (which is now a vertical model) and a retro-themed roof rack to Tremor's orange-rimmed mouth. At the back, we arrive at what is undoubtedly the most innovative feature in the Pro Access tailgate. It's Ford's long-awaited answer to the tricky tailgates of Ram, Chevrolet and GMC, putting a simple swing-up door in between the traditional landing doors. It opens in three positions - 37 degrees, 70 degrees and 100 degrees - allowing easy access to the bed. The first increase is not deep enough to open it with a trailer, Ford integrates a new storage box in the bed behind the passenger wheel. If you don't opt for the Power Boost system, a second safety box is located on the driver's side.
Safebox is a standard term across borders, but not a Pro Access terminal. It's part of a $1,620 bed package on Lariat and Tremor trims, as well as standard and higher trims. For at least 2024, it is not offered on XL, STX, or XLT trucks. Speaking of trims, the entry-level F-150 is still the XL, but at the other end of the spectrum, the new Platinum Plus trim replaces the Limited as the flagship luxury vehicle.
