Mini is expected to introduce a new SUV version of the citizen soon. With the introduction of the new Citizen, Mini has confirmed that it will offer the Citizen in a new electric model. 

Mini didn't provide much information about the upcoming model, but here's what we expect from the 2024 Mini Countryman EV. 

Based on the photos Mini released of the prototype model, the next EV citizen will retain the same box as the current model. The Civic EV is expected to feature rectangular headlights, an oval grille, a prominent rear spoiler, rectangular taillights and a large rear bumper.

For now, Mini has confirmed that the Citizen EV will have a 64.8 kWh battery. In the WLTP cycle, the EV should have a range of 240 kilometers. This number should be lower when the EPA publishes its official statistics. EV's safety features are not yet known. 

The Citizen now comes standard with forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and rear parking sensors. Adaptive cruise control and park assist are optional. We expect the 2024 Mini Countryman EV to be available with more advanced safety features. 2024 Small town EVs may arrive as early as 2024. EV production is expected to begin soon. We do not have pricing information for that model. The Citizen EV will compete with other small electric SUVs such as Kia Niro EV, Chevrolet Bolt EUV, Hyundai Kona Electric, Nissan Ariya and Volkswagen ID.4.
